Our family’s journey truly embodies the American Dream. Over forty years, we have proudly grown into a second-generation, family-owned custom furniture manufacturer.
A Legacy 40 Years in the Making

1976The founder arrives from Iran as a college student, driven by the hope of achieving the American Dream and inspired by the fine craftsmanship of Italian design.

1980A serial entrepreneur at heart, Ben began by selling imported music boxes from Italy before discovering his true calling in furniture. He went on to open his first furniture store in Virginia Beach, establishing the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of design and craftsmanship.

1990sAfter moving to California, Ben met his wife, Lawdan, and together they opened a Los Angeles factory dedicated to custom-making every piece, laying the foundation for a brand built on family, precision, and care.

2000sSigla became known for its timeless, custom-made pieces that blend Italian elegance with American strength. During this decade, the company began furnishing hotels and restaurants and completed projects across the country.

2022In 2022, Sigla acquired JDM Furniture and welcomed Tom Juhasz, expanding into designer collaborations and interior design to better serve the design community and their pursuit of creating timeless pieces.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I like a furniture frame but want a different upholstery or finish?
No worries at all! If you have a specific vision in mind, just let us know the SKU for the frame you like. Since all our products are custom-made to order, we can adapt it to fit your unique needs, whether that’s a different fabric, leather, wood finish, or other details.
How long does production take?
Typical production time is approximately 2–4 weeks when you choose from our frames, fabrics and finishes, or 8–10 weeks for fully custom projects. Shipping and delivery time is additional and depends on your destination, order size and service level.
How can I receive my order?
You have two convenient options for receiving your order:
- Warehouse Pickup: You can pick up your order directly from our factory warehouse at 711 East Rosecrans Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90059 for no additional fee. Please schedule your pickup in advance.
- Scheduled Delivery: We can arrange for delivery to your specified location. Delivery fees may apply and will be quoted based on your address and the size of your order.
I'm an interior designer. Can Sigla Furniture handle large-scale projects for hotels or restaurants?
Absolutely! We specialize in custom furniture for both residential and large-scale hospitality projects. We have extensive experience working with designers and businesses, having previously completed work for prestigious clients such as the Omni Hotel, the Shade Hotel, and the Marriott, among others. We are equipped to bring your commercial design visions to life.
